This seven-star hotel truly lives up to its reputation; it's incredibly well-maintained. The butler and customer service staff were exceptional. I do have a suggestion though: it would be great if the Rainbow Bridge had a bicycle ramp, perhaps a few dozen centimeters wide, so bikes could be pushed across (cycling isn't allowed, but at least pushing them would be possible). Cycling around Taihu Lake is a growing trend in sports tourism, and I believe this would add a new attraction and draw more guests to the Moon Hotel.

This is a wonderful small boutique hotel, beautiful and thoughtfully designed in every corner. I loved the summer special drinks in the lobby and the convenient 'carefree corner,' which had everything you could need. The flavored afternoon tea, featuring huangjiu (yellow wine), was a delightful and immersive experience. The hotel's location is fantastic; Cangqiao Old Street is lively and convenient, while Fushan Park and the morning market offer a glimpse into local life. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast and late-night snacks were delicious. Plus, it's super easy to get around from here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing.

Step out onto the balcony and you're greeted by the charming scenery of Jiangnan. The room's decor beautifully echoes the Jiangnan aesthetic, with blue floral curtains, wooden-framed windows, and a bathroom with a separate wet and dry area. The room is quite close to the bar street, so it can be a bit noisy until midnight, but the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs. The breakfast spread is fantastic and diverse, featuring local specialties like zongzi (rice dumplings), small wontons, pork offal porridge, and freshly fried items popular in Jiangnan, such as fried steamed bun slices and sesame balls. They even have mini shengjian (pan-fried buns)! The hotel is right next to the Moon River Historic Block, making it super convenient for going out and exploring the local food scene.

This time, I brought my child to stay in the family room at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Yiwu International Trade Center, and the experience was truly wonderful. The room was incredibly spacious, with a well-thought-out layout and plenty of room for activities, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. It even came with a thoughtful touch: a bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of playing.
The room's cleanliness was meticulous and comprehensive, and all the amenities were complete and safe, making our stay very reassuring. The overall atmosphere was warm and playful, perfectly catering to children's preferences. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive, promptly responding to any requests we had.
The hotel's location is convenient for getting around, and the surrounding environment is also pleasant. With comfortable room types and thoughtful service, it's particularly well-suited for families traveling with children – both adults and kids had a comfortable stay. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit with family.

From booking to check-out, our stay with our furry friend far exceeded just 'pet-friendly' – it was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend quality time with their entire family (including the fluffy ones).
✨ Truly ”Stress-Free” Check-in:
The staff greeted us warmly, and the check-in process was swift and hassle-free, with no complications whatsoever.
🏨 Detail-Oriented Rooms:
Upon entering the room, we were absolutely blown away! This wasn't just a room that *allowed* pets; it was meticulously arranged for them:
* Dedicated pet bed, food bowl, water bowl, and poop bags.
* A welcome gift for our pet from the hotel (dog treats, custom name tag).
* The floor was made of an easy-to-clean material, and the windows ensured good ventilation. There was absolutely no pet odor, and the cleanliness was impeccable.
Summary:
This hotel truly understands the meaning of ”pets are family.” They don't just tolerate pets; they genuinely welcome and treat them with hospitality. This made our entire family (both two-legged and four-legged members) feel an unparalleled sense of respect and joy. The price was also reasonable. The hotel fee included a pet cleaning fee, and considering the ultimate experience and wonderful memories it created for the whole family (including our furry child), it was absolutely value for money!
We're already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you for creating such special travel memories for us.

The room was quite clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast – the wontons were delicious! The food at the tourist attractions was universally bad. The 'Fugui Xiaojiangnan' (I think that's what it was called) that the front desk recommended was terrible. And all those highly-rated local restaurants online, like 'Tianxia Diyimian' (First Noodle Under Heaven) – oh my god, they were awful, I have no idea how they got their scores. The only meal I actually enjoyed was the hotel breakfast. Five stars for the staff, they were all very enthusiastic and helpful! 👍 The public facilities, though, were pretty mediocre. Not even as good as an Orange Hotel.

Before the trip, I compared several Anji B&Bs, and finally chose Suiyuan Life·Vihara. There was no thunder on the whole trip, which was the best short-distance vacation in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
The architectural design is exquisite, the new Huizhou style is compatible with ancient charm and modern aesthetics, the iconic horse head wall, winter melon beam is completely preserved, the clay wall left by the old house adds years temperature to the courtyard, the winding water flow creates a beautiful and elegant scenery, and the scenery is everywhere.
The public area is very life-like. There are many tea tables in the lobby for tea chatting in the stove. The experience of copying scriptures and handmade sachets can calm down to empty yourself. The net red spiral staircase does not require filters. The corner Chinese patio design, the light and shadow level is excellent, the rainy day has a unique view, the banana leaves are raining, and the sound of the rain is healing all the fatigue of the journey. The back garden is scattered with many outdoor tea mats, tea in the mountains and forests is very leisurely, and the supporting tennis hall is a surprise. You can exercise and stretch your body after sedentary rest.
The room experience is full of surprises, and the room configuration is full. Private outdoor pool + independent steaming room, one step in place for vacation health and wellness; Vinyl records and projection bring immersive leisure, bathtubs, smart toilets, and small intelligent systems to improve the convenience of daily stay, and the hardware configuration far exceeds the same price homestay.
The details of the butler service are full. Before you check in, you take the initiative to connect all the needs online. You can debug the water temperature of the pool in advance, put the mosquito coils of the grass to isolate the mosquitoes, and deliver good night desserts on time at night. The service is intimate but will not be excessively disturbed. The experience is excellent.
Breakfast is not perfunctory, Chinese authentic warm stomach, small wontons, miscellaneous grain porridge, steamed potato yams; Western style is exquisite and rich, egg tarts, bacon, sausage, salad, yogurt, freshly squeezed juice are all available, and the dishes are fresh and sufficient. Every day, you can start a day of travel.
The location of the homestay is quiet, private, service, hardware, landscape, dining are all online, cost-effective, has been recommended to friends, come to Anji will definitely stay again!

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was very welcoming. There's a shuttle service from the pier, and the hotel is right next to Puji Temple, making it very convenient for getting around. There's also a commercial street nearby with plenty of dining options, from budget-friendly to more upscale, offering both meat and vegetarian dishes. A Starbucks is conveniently located right next to the lobby, so you can easily grab a coffee.

This is a newly opened hotel with excellent facilities and a high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast selection is decent. It's very convenient to have amenities like a gym, swimming pool, laundry room, and EV charging stations available. The value for money is great. Plus, there's a Freshippo (Hema Xiansheng) and a shopping mall right next door. A few areas for improvement: 1. The bathroom mirror defogger couldn't be turned off in summer. 2. The night light was poorly designed and too bright, which affected my sleep.

GGuest UserSuper fun! This was one of the theme hotels that were hidden on the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street set. Appropriately, the Rosslyn Hotels' brand icon is the Landlady from Kungfu Hustle.
Upon arrival, you check in at the North Gate's Tourist Services Desk. The concierge welcomed me with a complimentary bag of fresh fruit and asking me to add their butler (Housekeeper Xiao Xiao) to my WeChat. If I needed anything, I just had to text the Housekeeper Xiao Xiao (who was super helpful with all my questions (in English) during my stay). Then the bellhop whisked me away, via golf cart, to my hotel.
There were several hidden hotels, with different themes, throughout the set.
The bellhop took me through an unassuming door among into what looked like an empty set, and up an elevator to the room floors.
The walkway offered a lovely view of the Ming Qing Palace set next door. The rooms were supposed to be themed as Guangzhou and Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s, but could easily pass for old Shanghai.
The room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, the shower has nice and hot and with fantastic water pressure. The room has some of the largest closet space that I have seen in any hotel. The WiFi worked without the need to register a local cellphone number (I've found that many other hotels, in China, offered free WiFi, but you need to verify with an ID code text to you. The texts never come through to my U.S. phone number, so I have never been able to take advantage of free WiFi; that is until I got to this hotel.) The little details were delightful surprises around every corner. They always refer to guests as ”laoshi” (an honorific of teacher, or master, bestowed to actors) or as ”starlet”. Not gonna lie, I really wanted to take home the pair of the room's bone china cups.
The stay also comes with very decent breakfast buffet that had both Chinese and western dishes. They will even make you fresh wontons and noodle soups to order. The restaurants in the park are not great and quite expensive by China's standard. I recommend loading up at the more tasty free breakfast to power through the day.
The hotel's location was very convenient for touring Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street; which had very lively evening shows. (As you walk through the streets, look at the stores' signs and test your TV shows and movie knowledge by finding the Easter eggs.) The Qing Ming Palace Set is across the street from the Guangzhou Street and Hong Kong Street's South Gateon the other side of the park (don't worry, it's not that far). To access the other sets, you can take their shuttle, but it does not come around very often. It's more efficient to get a Didi.
Overall, it was a magical stay of being in the movies.
GGuest UserThe environment of the hotel is very good. The room is very hygienic. The facilities are complete. The boss service is very good. The family wants to play mahjong and the owner of the hotel. The owner of the hotel went to the relatives' house on a rainy day. The mahjong table breakfast is also prepared. A lot of service is very good. Friends who come to Lishui can choose this homestay. Real test praise!
GGuest UserThis hotel offers great value for money. The room was spotlessly clean and well-arranged. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and enthusiastically recommended sightseeing routes, which saved us a lot of time. Our entire experience was excellent. The hotel has its own parking lot, and there's a hundred-meter flower wall nearby, perfect for photos. The location is superb, very close to the attractions we wanted to visit, and we could just walk there. I genuinely recommend it!
GGuest UserThe room was compact and clean, and the shower water was great. The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating. It's located right downstairs from Hefang Street, so dining options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are super convenient. West Lake is also quite close, and both bus and subway stations are within easy reach. I initially booked one night, and after seeing how good it was, I booked another! The lobby also has luggage storage, which is a great bonus!
MM787019****The hotel I stayed at this time was quite satisfactory. Parking is convenient, there is a bus stop next to the hotel, it is especially easy to go out by car, whether it is to go to the attractions or the business district is very convenient. The room is OK, the space is not cramped, and the daily activities are completely enough. Toiletries are also quite complete, toothbrushes, combs and face towels are individually packaged, and you can rest assured. Cleaning will be cleaned on time, changing garbage bags and replenishing daily necessities are very timely, and the desktop floor is always clean. The front desk and floor attendants are very good. They patiently answer questions when checking in. They also take the initiative to help with luggage when checking out. They smile all the time and feel very kind. Next time I come here, I should choose this one again.
XXidan123Two days in advance, I added the housekeeper's WeChat and booked the meal and hot spring time.
It is more convenient to drive there. After locating their parking lot, a housekeeper will pick us up to check in at the B&B.
The room is still clean as a whole, with everything it should have. The welcome fruits and flowers are still very warm. There is only a window on the top to watch the starry sky. The glass is a little dirty after a long time, but it doesn't affect it at night.
After that, we walked around. The content of the B&B is still very complete, with a large room for dinner, facilities for children to play, hot springs and swimming pools, and places to read and drink tea.
Walking out of the B&B, the village is peaceful and quiet. Walk around and feel the environment and culture of Maoao Village.
I made an appointment for dinner and hot springs in the evening at the B&B. Because it is a reservation system, it is equivalent to a private soup, which feels good. Half an hour is completely enough. The dinner tastes good, and the chef gives a good review.
The above.
GGuest UserThe front desk service was gentle and meticulous, and check-in was quick and hassle-free. The hotel's interior design is simple yet sophisticated, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the ingredients were fresh and clean. The overall environment was comfortable. My stay was perfect, and this will be my top choice for future trips.
MmayrpamintuanYouwang Meicen Homestay is conveniently located right next to Hefang Old Street, making it an excellent choice for travelers who enjoy being close to a lively walking street filled with various food stalls, eateries, and shops. The location is very vibrant and convenient, especially in the evenings. However, do note that there are stairs leading to the property, so it may not be ideal if you are traveling with a lot of heavy luggage.
When we arrived, our room was not yet ready, so we took the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. The owner was very proactive and messaged us as soon as the room became available, and by the time we returned, our luggage had already been placed inside the room, which we appreciated.
The room itself was spacious and uniquely designed with two levels: a living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. There were plenty of hangers, a clothes rack, and an open cabinet for organizing belongings. The mini bar included bottled water that was replenished daily, and the bathroom came with complete amenities. Overall, the room was clean and comfortable, though I did notice a small face mask wrapper left near the bed.
One highlight was the availability of staff 24/7. One night, our key card stopped working, but thankfully there was someone on-site who assisted us immediately. The property also has a vending machine, a 24/7 eatery, and a taproom near the street entrance that stays open late, adding to the convenience.
Overall, Youwang Meicen Homestay offers a comfortable stay in a prime location, with spacious rooms, helpful staff, and easy access to food and nightlifeideal for travelers who want to experience Hefang Old Street up close.
GGregoryFacilities: The room is very good, very suitable for couples to take photos, and the view of the small bridge opposite is great!
Hygiene: The room hygiene is very good, nothing to fault
Service: The boss picked us up from Xizha in the evening and helped us pick up our luggage at noon and deliver our luggage the next day. He was really considerate! The service is very attentive!
