"We were fully delighted with staying at the hotel. The hotel is clean, everywhere order. We were settled in an absolutely new room in which no one had lived before us. Everything fresh, correct and very comfortable. The cleaning was regular on the floor, but we didn't order, we just changed all the towels and gave water, tea, coffee. Special thanks to the staff on the respiratory - very responsive and pleasant people. Ready to answer any questions and help."

"The hotel left mixed impressions. On the positive side, the location is good: the botanical garden is nearby, many places are within walking distance, and getting to Batumi is convenient. The sea view from the window was beautiful, especially in the evening. The price was also quite reasonable. The apartment had all the basic necessities, but some small comfort items and supplies were missing: there was no laundry detergent, no sponges, and it was unclear where the trash area was located. The wardrobes were assembled strangely and kept opening by themselves all the time. The water pressure was rather weak, making it uncomfortable to wash long hair. The strangest part was the breakfast situation and the café organization. We were told in advance that we could come for breakfast at any time, but when we arrived a little after 12 PM, we were told that breakfast was no longer being served. At the same time, the café was almost empty — we stayed in May, during the off-season, so there were barely any visitors. The next day the situation repeated itself: before checking out, we wanted to have breakfast, but it turned out that the café opened later than the time written on the door. Through the administrator we found out a different opening time, and then the café was additionally delayed by around half an hour. As a result, we never managed to have a calm breakfast before departure. The breakfasts themselves were also questionable. The English breakfast in the café costs around 24–25 GEL separately and was extremely greasy and oily — literally a “cholesterol festival.” If you stay for a longer period, it gets tiring very quickly. There were alternatives, but they looked much less worthwhile in terms of price and portion size, so I’m not sure there is much point in booking breakfast included. There was also an uncomfortable situation with the staff: we walked past the security guard many times, but later we suddenly started being questioned about who we were and where we came from, as if we were doing something suspicious. After check-out, we were also asked to wait while they checked whether anything had been stolen from the apartment. It felt awkward and unpleasant. Overall, the hotel is fine for a short stay because of the view and location, but the service and organization left mixed impressions. Also, be prepared for a very specific driving style in this region."

Sheraton Batumi Hotel

8.1/10

We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

Located in the new district of Batumi, it's close to the airport but a few kilometers from the old town. However, Batumi's traffic is extremely congested; it took us over an hour to travel just a few kilometers in the afternoon. The city's management is truly terrible. The room was small but fairly clean. It's very close to the beach. Because our flight was in the morning, we hadn't had breakfast, and there was a 50 baht deposit required to borrow an umbrella.

A fantastic beachfront hotel, boasting both lake and sea views. My friend had originally booked an apartment on ***********, but upon arrival, discovered their reservation had been canceled due to overbooking. We ended up booking the Hilton last-minute on Trip.com, and the service was excellent. The rooms at the Hilton were reassuringly good.

Not a bad hotel, good for a frequent stay. Everything is close by. There's a huge supermarket right next to it. The hotel also has parking. That's exactly why I chose it. Stayed for 2 days with my daughter. A slight downside is the industrial area and car dismantling shop right under the window, but you can see mountains in the distance. Overall, we liked everything.

The hotel is wonderful. The grounds and building are aesthetically beautiful. We had a triple room with a fridge, air conditioning, and a kettle. The hotel offered us breakfast, and it was excellent and varied. My youngest child is a picky eater, and they would ask her what she wanted and prepare it according to her wishes. The hotel's location is excellent, situated between the city center and the botanical garden. It's 5 Lari (150 rubles) by taxi to the center, and 5 Lari to the botanical garden, next to which there's a pristine beach with few people. On the beach, a sun lounger costs 5 Lari and an umbrella 10 Lari for the whole day. The water was like warm milk. There are restaurants nearby, and close to the hotel itself, you'll find a Spar supermarket and a pharmacy. Everything is conveniently located. The hotel also has a small pool. On our last day, before our train, we didn't go to the sea, and the kids had fun in the pool instead. In short, I recommend it... It's a quiet, peaceful area, and the sea is only 300 meters away. A superb place. The hotel is new, everything is spotless, and the hosts are hospitable. The bed linen was so new and clean it practically crackled. Check-in time was 3 PM, but we arrived at 1 PM and were checked in without any problems. Check-out time was 12 PM, but our train wasn't until 4:40 PM. We were allowed to stay until 3:30 PM. Thank you!

The hotel is located in the old town. The location is excellent!! The rooms are relatively large and clean, the breakfast is normal, but monotonous, nothing has changed for 3 days, and cappuccino coffee is available for an additional fee... The SPA and pool are terrible (I took the hotel only because of the SPA) VERY DISAPPOINTED!! The pool is small and the water is cold, stuffy and unpleasant!!! When we checked in, there were no towels, and when we asked they said only an hour later🤔 There were three of us and they brought everything for two!!! (towels, water, shampoo, slippers, etc.) In general, the impression was not pleasant, for that kind of money you could have rented something more decent... I will never recommend it to my friends!!!

When I first arrived in Georgia, the front desk was very friendly. I upgraded my suite when I checked in. The hotel restaurant has delicious traditional Georgian dishes, as well as local red wine. The charge is reasonable and the dining is comfortable.
