Compared to the generally smaller accommodations in Japan, the room size at this hotel is quite good. The breakfast is excellent, with a Western focus. The location isn't far from Kyoto Station, and there's a shuttle bus service to and from the station. The parking lot is very close to the Kansai Airport shuttle bus stop, just across the road. Overall, it's great.
This has always been one of my favorite hotels, a Mercure chain property. They offer a complimentary evening bar service where all food, drinks, sake, and small snacks are free. It's perfect for a group of friends to gather, whether for team-building or just a casual get-together.

Hotel Granvia's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right on the second floor, accessible by elevator on the left once you enter the main entrance of Osaka Station. Plus, there are several other entrances, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. Even just around the hotel, there's so much to explore. Inside the station, you'll find both Isetan and Porta shopping malls. The ramen at Ramen Street on Isetan's 10th floor is also delicious – I recommend the tantanmen; it's spicy and incredibly satisfying! When checking out, I bought a Hello Kitty Haruka e-ticket directly on Klook, and I could just scan my phone to enter and exit. The entrance is also right downstairs from the hotel, directly opposite the Kyoto Station entrance. If it's your first time visiting Kyoto, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Granvia.

The location is absolutely unbeatable – incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. It's truly super comfortable, easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at recently. The high-ceilinged lobby was wonderfully cool and had a lovely fragrance. Our room also had a pleasant, subtle woody scent. The bed was soft yet firm, and the lighting was cleverly designed to be bright and warm without being harsh on the eyes. Crucially, the bathroom shower had fantastic water pressure, making for a really comfortable wash, and the hairdryer was excellent too.
**Facilities:** Brand new and impeccable – couldn't ask for more.
**Cleanliness:** Spotless. As someone with a dust mite allergy, I had no issues with rhinitis during my entire stay.
**Service:** The 24-hour front desk provided prompt responses and truly excellent service.
This stay was absolutely worth every penny. The soundproofing was superb; even with motorcycles revving on the street below, the noise was barely audible. Plus, the blackout curtains ensured the room was completely dark. If I didn't have other plans, I would have gladly extended my stay indefinitely, even if it meant commuting an hour daily to other areas.
It's also very close to Yakiniku Kou, which is delicious. Nishiki Market is great for exploring too.
I'll definitely be back. In fact, I'd even plan another trip to Kyoto just to stay here again.
Found out that the car parking is only available before 11pm when we called to say we might check in later than usual. Had a bit of problem trying to understand the staff that was on duty that night as he could not speak much English. Parking attendant was nice though. Room is big and clean though.
The natural hot springs, especially the massage pools at the bathhouse, were incredibly relaxing. The room facilities were comfortable, and hygiene control was well-maintained. Both the guest rooms and public areas were clean and up to standard. The service process was standardized, and the staff were highly professional and responsive. The breakfast buffet was well-organized with a clean and orderly dining environment. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were delicious. There are Lawson and 7-Eleven convenience stores nearby, making travel very convenient. I highly recommend staying here.
We book the hotel with private onsen, the room and services are great, only one compaint with the dinner and breakfast. Hope they can be improved, dinner was not well prepared but presentation was nice. The meat was really poor quality for shabu while the beef steak contained too much fast for grill by ourselves

Could have give it 5stars if the bathroom is clean and not smell urine so bad. Others than that breakfast was awesome, Customer service was top not, location is perfect to go everywhere. Also they said they have bus service every 15 minutes to Kyoto station which is not true, we waited forever 1.5 hours or so, but they never came. We saw others hotel busses came by several times. I didn’t confront this to the front desk tho. We was taxi everywhere and it was cheap, furthest would be 20 minutes taxi drive and about 3,000 yen which is reasonable.

Online hotel bookings can often feel like a blind box draw, but Dusit Thani was definitely the right pick. Every staff member I encountered had an excellent attitude, the room was spotless, and even though the turndown service only provided a bottle of water, it was a pleasant and thoughtful touch. Thai brands truly excel in their service consciousness and aesthetic sense. The room itself was incredibly comfortable, and with no other guests in the public lobby areas, I thoroughly enjoyed the bliss of reading a book alone.
The advantages are that the surrounding environment is relatively quiet, there are relatively few guests, and there will not be too many problems with the service process; the disadvantages are average cost performance, the landscaping is very rough and does not meet the quality of this price range, especially the hotel restaurant is not recommended, the price is expensive and the taste is very average, the breakfast is also very ordinary, and other means of transportation except taking a taxi are basically walking, and the air conditioner is a bit noisy.

GGuest UserThe price doubles and goes up. I have stayed in this hotel many times. It always feels good. I came here again after many years and felt that the overall service and the quality of the food in the hotel were much worse. In particular, the service may be understaffed during the peak season, but it is indeed a very good hotel. Be sure not to make any mistakes when booking a hotel, otherwise he will be unkind and only care about money!

SShuk YeeStayed for a few nights, really comfortable, heard the sounds of birds and cicadas every day, all the staff were nice and polite, had their own hot springs, after playing you could soak in the hot springs in your room, and the hotel could get your luggage from Kyoto Station round trip to the station, very convenient, because Jiashuiyuan is on the other side of the hotel, like a paradise, the only bad thing is that some insects or geckos will accidentally enter the room, because I am afraid of insects, so have called the hotel The personnel help with it, but basically me, the hotel is really nice.
