I spotted this farmhouse restaurant with a long line around lunchtime. 🔥 I looked it up online and thought it was good, so I immediately decided to try it. The wild mushroom and yak beef hot pot was delicious. The beef was generously portioned, a huge piece, and it was tender and chewy, smothered in broth. The yak beef hot pot was a little spicy, but very flavorful and completely satisfying. It came with tofu skin, potatoes, and baby cabbage. The walnut flower stir-fried cured meat and wild vegetable scrambled eggs were incredibly delicious! I could finish two bowls of rice in one sitting. I even packed some crispy highland barley and some soft and delicious Tibetan glutinous rice cakes to take back to Chengdu.
