Kyo sushi

My favorite sushi place in Marseille! I had the Trio Mix California with Yamada Nishiki Sake. The rice was cooked perfectly which makes a huge difference in my opinion. The fish for the sushi was expertly cut (just the right thickness) and the california and maki rolls were great too!

We were pleasantly surprised by Kyo— the service was excellent, the sushi was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was ambiant and welcoming. The Takoyaki was especially delightful, and we were pleased to leave very full without spending a huge amount of money. Very kid-friendly as well. Highly recommended.

Never expected that good quality in Marseille. The price was also very reasonable for the quality.

For the price it’s great and fresh sushi! Portions are quite big. They serve sashimi with a large portion of rice, which was unexpected. The variety of dishes and execution of them is great, too!

The food was nice and very well done, however the service was quite annoying. We booked in advance for 8.30 without knowing that the restaurant was going to close at 9.30. They didn't tell us before, so when we arrived we had to rush to eat and pay and be out in an hour. If you are going to close at 9.30, either you don't accept the reservation or at least you explain the situation to the client. It is a pity because the food was really good.
