This restaurant was everything I had hoped for on a short break to Marseille.Great food, authentic to its roots in Corsica. The cheese & meat platters among the best I ever had.The staff were super friendly and the restaurant has a warm family run ambience. It’s close to the metro tram & bus system, so easy to get to.Don’t miss going to see their meat, cheese @ wine store. If you are very lucky, one of the family, who are obviously and justifiably proud of it, may open the door a little to allow you to smell the amazing aroma inside. Amazing !We visited on our first evening here but I’m sure it will be the memorable highlight to our visit.

Unfair to judge, it was overrun by rugby crowd, told we needed to order and pay for drinks and food at the bar when others were getting table service
Having booked 10 days ago we thought we would be entitled to slightly better service than people just turning up off the street. Unfortunately until my daughter intervened we were given a minuscule round table for 3 people and told they couldn’t do any better as they had to take into account passing trade! Reception from the (I assume) manager was appalling. Thank goodness for his staff, particularly the young waitress we were given after we complained and were given a bigger table. She was lovely and attentive and saved this review from being considerably worse. We had specifically booked for the tapas, however we were told they weren’t serving tapas this evening and were presented with a tiny menu of about 10 dishes, of which already two were off the menu. The food was a bit better than ok, but not amazing. I suspect it would be much better outside of World Cup season. But it doesn’t end there. They have one toilet for the entire establishment and my daughter endured a 25 minute wait for said WC while her main course was slowly cooling on the table. I am not exaggerating the wait! Sorry , but if you are on the main thoroughfare in Marseille between a World Cup stadium and the city centre, AND you are hoping to catch passing trade, would it not occur to you that ONE SINGLE TOILET might not cut it? Ever heard of portaloos? The pain did not end there, we all had to queue up for ages at the bar to pay. There were 10 people waiting behind me when I paid. The reviews for this restaurant were consistently good which I why I booked it. I’m sure that outside of this type of event they will do a good job. Just be ready for less than perfect service during the World Cup.
Amazing experience, service, and food, thank you!
