The Cathedral of St-tienne Limoges was built in the 13th century and has a long history spanning six centuries. Simple and stately, the bell tower towers, the facades of dark granite ancient vicissitudes, are a rare Gothic church south of the Loire. The church's Saint Jean gate was built during the Renaissance. The interior of the crucifix screen and thin columns are a Renaissance art boutique. It is a 20-minute walk from the train station.
