Many important historical events are closely related to Dajingmen. Dajingmen witnessed the poverty and weakness of the old China, and also witnessed the prosperity of the new China and the historical changes of Zhangjiakou. Zhangjiakou people are proud of Dajingmen, and Dajingmen have naturally become a symbol of Zhangjiakou.

The gate of Dajingmen Scenic Area is free. It is charged to climb the city wall. I just thought it was over after climbing up the city wall. I didn’t expect to climb up all the time. The process of climbing was very hard. I climbed to the place where there was a fork in the road. There was a panoramic picture of Dajingmen before I learned that in fact, this Dajingmen scenic spot is connected to the West Taiping Mountain Park next to it. Going up the fork road is to enter the West Taiping Mountain Park. If you don't go fork road, continue to climb up the final end is a pavilion on the highest mountain opposite. But that pavilion is really high, and the road close to the pavilion is a steep slope and it is not easy to climb. We took a fork in the road to the West Taiping Mountain Park, and there was nothing special. The attractions on the map were all gone. The so-called attractions were nothing more than a small square or a pavilion. There was not much viewing. Xitaipingshan Park itself also has its own entrance and parking lot, and there are not many cars parked. In fact, if you want to go from the entrance of Xitaipingshan Park to Dajingmen, I feel that the money for climbing the city wall does not have to go out alone. Then I returned to Dajingmen Scenic Area along the original road. The parking lot of Dajingmen is 3 yuan an hour. The whole scenic spot is actually climbing the mountain, and you need to be mentally and physically prepared. We didn't go to the sinking art museum because we were too tired and because the next attraction was still waiting for us, we went down from the mountain and left.

I came here three times. One of the most representative attractions in Zhangjiakou City is not large in size and there is a charge for climbing the city wall. It’s good to take your family and children around, not tired.
