Dazhao Temple Dazhao Temple is a large Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the south of Yuquan District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. It belongs to the Gelu (Huangjiao). Dazhao Temple, which "zhao" is the meaning of Tibetan temple. The Han name was originally "Yuci Temple", and later changed to "Wuliang Temple". Because the temple is dedicated to a silver Buddha, also known as the "Silver Buddha Temple". Dazhao Temple is the earliest Huangjiao monastery built in Hohhot, and is also one of the large monasteries built by Mongolians who converted to Huangjiao only later than the United States, which has a large impact in Mongolia.
