People's Park of Urumqi Review

This park is close to Hongshan Park, and it is also an earlier park in Urumqi. It can be regarded as a scenic spot in the local area, free of charge. There are many people inside, especially the people dancing on the square, and the atmosphere is particularly happy. There is a lake in the park, not big, but the lakeside scenery is still very good.

I went to the Spring Festival Lighting Festival in 2022. The park is very large. In addition to the scenery, there are many snacks and entertainment projects such as snowmobiles. The light show is very grand and the security measures are in place. The overall experience is great!

People's Park, located on the west side of the Urumqi River (now the river beach highway), is the largest and oldest Park in the center of Urumqi. When Urumqi was built in 1755 in the 20th year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, it was designated as a resting place for officials. The garden is full of trees and flowers. The winding and secluded garden, the bizarre "Crystal Palace" adorns the sculpture in front of the pavilion, including children's amusement park, roller skating rink and other attractions and facilities.
