Shapowei Art Zone West District Review

This would be on the top of my list of places to visit in Xiamen. It’s beautiful and interesting, with lots of stalls selling jewelry, coffee, and all sorts of souvenirs. Wonderful!

The West Art District is a young cultural and artistic area that rises on the edge of Xiamen Shapowei Shelter Dock, located at No. 60 Shapowei, Xiamen. It contains sculpture, pottery, printmaking, costume design, hand-made wood art, animation, music, paper art, image and other artistic elements. In addition, Art West also offers free skateboarding, music scenes, retro market and other urban trend elements.

this is one of the latest art zone in xiamen. came here on a weekend, and it was definitely worth a visit with various pop up stalls. coffee and bubble tea shops are plenty around too. a must to visit when in xiamen

Shapowei is near Xiamen University. It is a pedestrian street with previous architectural characteristics. There are many small shops for eating and drinking.

I went to Xiamen for a business trip and stayed at a hotel in the Petronas Twin Towers. I walked around the hotel and came to Shapowei Art West District. The Art West District and Shapowei are different places, but they are very close. Art West District is a article creation street, there are many shops selling small accessories, clothes, eating and drinking there, forming a net red street, see a lot of girls posing, and now very hot frogs.

The old fishing port combines the old and new culture to intertwine beautiful movement, and retains a touch of simplicity and tranquility in the lively moon night.
