空山森林公园是2004年12月经国家林业局批准,在国有空山林场的基础上建立的国家级森林公园。空山森林公园位于四川省通江县境内，地处四川盆地东北缘的米仓山东段南缘，与陕西南郑、西乡、镇巴三县接壤。公园总面积11511公顷，辖空山坝、挂包岩、猴子峡、椒园子四大景区，由地貌、生物、人文、天像、水体五大景观组成，景点共56个，其中一级景点5个，二级景点11个，三级景点15个，四级景点25个。是川东北地区生态观光、避暑度假、启迪寓教、登山探秘等多功能的生态旅游胜地。

公园四季常青青，鸟语花香，园内还有空山战役遗址。
