"The environment was super comfortable, and it's very close to the Changbaishan Visitor Centerâeasy enough to walk there in the morning. The front desk even gave me a lovely little gift đ when I checked out, which was a really sweet touch. Changbai Mountain was so kind to me, too; it was only open for two days during the National Day holiday, and I was lucky enough to be there on one of those days to see its breathtaking beauty in person."

"The pool offers a great variety of features, really making you want to jump in. However, some guests were smoking by the poolside, and they should be directed to the designated smoking areas more promptly.
There weren't many hot spring pools, but they were adequate. The water pump in the âDoctor Fishâ pool was too strong, and there were very few fish. After five or six people sat down, it would take more than 3 minutes to see any fish. I suggest adjusting the pump's intensity.
The various hotel-organized activities showed excellent planning, especially the beautiful fireworks display.
Our butler was very professional and helpful when we needed assistance. They genuinely considered the customer's perspective rather than just mechanically processing requests, which deserves high praise!
Perhaps due to the hotel being over ten years old, the facilities in my room showed some aging. I recommend regular, staggered checks of things like the sink drainage, shower water pressure, toilet flush, and electrical outlet looseness. The decor's classic, palatial style was quite appealing to my family, but the facilities shouldn't feel dilapidated. Even minor issues with key facilities can significantly impact the guest experience.
The breakfast buffet was good, but there was only one coffee machine, often leading to queues. The coffee machine's water tank also needed more timely maintenance.
The charging stations are a 20-minute walk from the lobby, and the superchargers incur an occupancy fee of 0.5 per minute after charging is complete. This is very inconvenient for guests with hybrid cars who need to charge. Having to walk over 30 minutes round trip for an hour of charging can easily deter guests from charging. I suggest introducing slow-charging stations.
Finally, the service staff in the hot spring pools and changing rooms had a somewhat rigid attitude, which I hope will be improved."

"The inn is located inside a shopping mall, requiring different elevators to reach the front desk and then your room. In terms of room size and cleanliness, I think it's good. However, the convenience of getting to the room is a bit convoluted, which wasn't a great experience.
The room mattress was very soft, and the shower had good water pressure and temperature.
Because the rooms are within the mall, the size and shape of each room vary. Our room was in a corner, and the initial impression wasn't great. The front desk offered to switch rooms, but since we were only staying for one night, we didn't bother.

Guest UserMy overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

The room was incredibly spacious, which I really appreciated! Especially when the afternoon sun streamed in upon arrival, it felt wonderful. The small bed's mattress was a bit firm but perfectly fine for sleeping. The hot springs were very crowded, so soaking in the room's bathtub was a good alternative. The staff were all very welcoming. The breakfast selection wasn't super extensive, but it depends on your taste; you'll definitely get enough to eat. The only issue was the weak air conditioning in the breakfast area, though the room's AC was excellent. The coffee in the lobby was quite good, worth trying. Parking was convenient, with plenty of space right out front.

For my autumn trip to Changbai Mountain, I chose a hotel closer to the west slope and stayed at the Wanda Tourist Resort Hotel. The butler service was attentive and thorough. Restaurants in the surrounding area offered pick-up and drop-off services, and the hotel also provided hot spring tickets. The room was quiet and elegant, and the hygiene was excellent. The resort facilities were comprehensive, with attention to detail, making for a very satisfying vacation.

BigedidiService: Absolutely amazing đđť We had a dedicated butler who contacted us via WeChat, ready to assist us with anything at any time.
Swimming Pool: I went for a swim in the evening for half an hour. It wasn't crowded, the water was clean, and it was very relaxing.
Room & Facilities: The facilities are a bit dated, but the 5-star hotel amenities are still quite good. There's also a cute pet farm where you can interact with alpacas and sika deer. The hotel provides a very convenient shuttle service. We were even given a free room upgrade!
As it happened to be my birthday, they specially decorated the room for me and actually surprised me with a free 6-inch birthday cakeâwhich was just fantastic! They also sent up a fruit platter in the evening.
Direct Access to Hot Springs: The hotel has direct access to the Julong Volcanic Hot Springs, and hotel guests enjoy unlimited soaking privileges during their stay, which is super convenient.

paopao7621This was our first family trip to Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort, and we chose to stay at Wanda Jin Hua. Throughout our stay, Tu Tu from the executive lounge provided excellent and thoughtful service. She added us on WeChat early on to inform us about our benefits and scenic spot reservation details, which made our entire check-in process incredibly smooth. On the day of arrival, we even received complimentary pastries and fruit. The room was spacious with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering beautiful mountain views (Őŕ¨Ő)đ. The benefits were great fun, but since our child was too young, he couldn't enjoy many of them. We'll definitely bring him back when he's a bit older.

YdfcoolwindMy flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day.
After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake.
The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit.
Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain đ. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches đ from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing.
The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed đ
. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better.
In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel đ¨ to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants.
It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old.
You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures.
There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options).
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back.

Guest UserI was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel after reading so many reviews and Redbook posts, but in the end, I decided to go for it because the hotel environment seemed good, and with a 1.5-year-old baby, we'd spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we first arrived, it was indeed a bit old, as other guests had mentioned, which was a slight disappointment. However, it wasn't as bad as some made it out to be, and of course, it can't compare to five-star hotels from major chain groups.
What truly stood out was the incredibly warm service. Unlike the somewhat cold and formal guidance you sometimes get at other five-star hotels, the staff here were genuinely enthusiastic. They reminded me to schedule the private hot spring, provided hot tea every day, and were available to answer any travel questions via WeChat. The driver they arranged was also exceptionally helpful and enthusiastic â highly recommend!
The breakfast selection was indeed small, but the taste was genuinely excellent. The Cantonese dim sum was even better than what I've had at some restaurants in Guangzhou! Plus, the restaurant is situated right above the river, offering fantastic views. The complimentary dinner was also delicious. Ordering additional items might be a bit pricey, but the food here was definitely the best we'd had during our stay in Erdaobaihe Town. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends next time.
