My hubby & i arrived past 10pm for check in. Checking in was not easy as I forgot my credit card & d front desk girl w/ an Eastern Europe accent said that she can’t check me in unless i present a credit card for a $100 deposit + resort fees. I said I paid for d room already but she won’t hear of it unless i present a cred.card. My friend volunteered to use her card for security deposit. Checked out early AM before 7am with Pramila & Anshu behind d desk to help. I informed Pramila of my cc situation & she was just so pleasantly helpful to facilitate d things i need for my upcoming check in in d next 3days. Pramila made my day. I wish there are more enployees like her who’s willing to go above & beyond her work to help a stressed senior tourist. I am also lucky to have a dear friend to come to d rescue. All’s well that ends well. God bless Pramila.
A very good medium-sized to large hotel. The architectural style of the entire hotel is typical Canadian national style, rough, heavy and grand. The room facilities are simple, and the hygiene and mattresses are neat and clean. The downside is that there is no kettle in the room. You have to go to the front desk to ask for it.

The hotel boasts an excellent location. We took public transport from the airport, and it was just a 6-minute walk from the stop to the hotel. Our room was spacious, offering a pleasant street view from the window. What really impressed us was that the front desk staff spoke Chinese. They were incredibly welcoming and provided detailed recommendations for sightseeing and essential tips for exploring Vancouver independently. Absolutely fantastic!
Downstairs is the commercial street of the resort, the busiest section. It only takes 2 minutes to get to Lululemon. It's only 3 minutes to the nearest cable car. So the location is great!
Parking costs 34 Canadian dollars a night. I looked outside and it was cheaper than the Marriott Hotel next door and even cheaper than the PayByPhone on the roadside. I heard from a book that you can't park on the roadside in the town because you have to clear the snow. I don't know whether it's true or not, but I didn't want to park my car outdoors because it was snowing, so I accepted it. As a result, I circled the parking lot of the wine list twice and couldn't find a parking space. I called the front desk, and the front desk said that maybe all the check-out people will leave at night, so there will be vacancies. But in fact, there was no such thing. When I went to get something from the car at night, I saw cars circling around looking for a space. I was forced to park in the Small Car space (my car is Sienna). Moreover, the parking lot is close to the elevator room, which is a garbage collection room. When you pass by, you will smell an extremely disgusting odor.
The M floor of the hotel elevator is the commercial street, which is very convenient. The passage next to the front desk in the lobby leads to a western restaurant. The food is good and the price is reasonable, but you may have to wait for a table during peak meal times.
The most unsatisfactory thing is that I found out that my daughter brought her own charger and forgot to take it after I left the hotel. So I told the hotel about the situation on the hotel website. But maybe no one on their official website cares about it, so no one ever contacted us. So we called directly to inform them, and the hotel left their contact information and said they would go and check. Two days later, they replied that the person who cleaned the room did not hand in the charger. I said, is it still plugged into the wall? They said they would go and check. Until a few days later, our friend checked into the hotel again and asked about this for us, they still said they would go and check. After 40 minutes, they told my friend that they didn't find it.
Frankly speaking, compared to the room rate, the charger can be said to be the money for a box of tissues inside. The hotel did not offer any compensation, so I thought they were honest and felt that there would be no compensation if it was not their fault. But in this communication process, we were really very dissatisfied! Their work attitude is completely unworthy of such a high room rate.
How to say it? ! Just like Hainan Island, no matter how bad the service is, you can't be blacklisted because of the unique natural resources. Maybe this is the nature of hotels in foreign countries. Let's just be normal.
The hotel seems very old and the room doesn’t have enough lights. But surprisingly clean, considering the age of the hotel. And the breakfast is awesome, simple yet delicious.
The receptionists, bellboy, and staff were all very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the stay a lot. Location is centralized - just few steps from the Whistler village and gondola. Summit sport was right there - easy to rent and valet the skis/snowboards. The spa was amazing. Cameron is good at what he does. The hot tubs and heated pool were my kids highlight. We enjoyed it esp after a long day of skiing/boarding. Parking is safe - easy and convenient to load and offload. Would love to come back again!
This Faremont is located inside the airport, at the departure level between the domestic and international terminals. The bathroom is very well designed and equipped with a bathtub, shower area, and separate toilet. The mattress well supported my back, and we had a sounded evening. The window view is the runway. We can see the plane taking off and landing. We enjoy staying this hotel so much
Fantastic location with friendly and attentive staff. The room was impeccably clean, and all facilities were fully equipped. I highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel was in a great location, and our room was very comfortable. The outdoor pool and hot were amazing —definitely a highlight of our stayWhile most things were excellent, we felt the customer service could have been more attentive at times. A little more care in handling guest requests would make the experience even better.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it, especially for the fantastic amenities.

The hotel is conveniently located and the sky train is very fast.
The room was larger and cleaner than expected, and 2 bottles of water were replaced every day.

Very Good
GGuest UserStaff was totally excellent. The room is clean. Bed is very comfortable. The hot tub was just fantastic. Nice swimming pool. Food was good and I have no complaints at all.
MMillennial_saysWe stayed three nights at the Paradox Hotel. The hotel's location is very central. It is within walking distance of the Harbourfront and many other nearby attractions and restaurants. It's a short Uber ride from Gastown and Stanley Park, and there's a farmers market within walking distance on Saturdays. We loved the hotel because the staff was friendly and it was easy to get around. Valet is CAD 50 per night and well worth it. There is also free bike and scooter rental at the hotel. The best part is that there is both an indoor pool and an outdoor hot tub. The indoor pool area serves as a nightclub at night and a swimming pool in the morning. The room is spacious, clean, and meticulously maintained.

FFaraad KhanThis hotel is huge and spacious. The suite had all amenities including a full kitchen and kitchenettes. It even had a comfy balcony and a cozy fire place. My kids loved the queen size sofa bed and the 42 inches flat screen TV. The washroom and bath were spacious and included shampoo, conditioner and body wash and enough towels. The king bed was in a separate room for privacy and this was one of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The reception area is huge and all the different levels has restaurants and there was a heated pool. The hotel is located like 5 minutes from a grocery store, which was convenient and they had valet parking for
just a few extra dollars. Right up the street had tje gondola and Whistler village centre, which we walked even though we had our own vehicle. Overall, I would stay here again and I highly recommend this accommodation. The check in and check out process was smooth and the reception was polite and kind. We were actually given a welcome card along with chocolates, cookies and ice cream pkus bottled water ☺️ PS: My 70 year old mom went to the on site spa and had her first full body massage, she loved it!
RRuininiThe room is big and the bed is very comfortable! When checking in, the child was given a small doll, which made the child very happy. There are wine tasting activities, roasted marshmallows, and live honey lollipops on Friday afternoon. The spa is especially good 👍 The waiters are very nice and everyone is smiling. But the scale of the hotel is not as big as the Lake Louise Castle Hotel, and the scenery there is not as good! The hotel is in Blackcomb Mountain, and it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the cable car. This side is more suitable for friends with intermediate and advanced ski slopes. If you are a beginner skier, the hotel on Whistler Mountain is more convenient. Blackcomb Mountain is relatively quiet, and there are relatively few options for eating and shopping. But from a vacation perspective, the hotel itself is very good, especially the Spa, which is so comfortable!
EEmilio PaduloNestled in the serene and picturesque landscape of Victoria, British Columbia, Oak Bay Beach Hotel offers an experience that seamlessly blends luxury, comfort, and stunning natural beauty. My stay at this boutique seaside hotel was nothing short of exceptional.
Location and Ambiance:
The location is a standout feature. Perched on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, the hotel provides breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding gardens. Whether you’re relaxing on the patio or enjoying a dip in the mineral pools, the scenery is always mesmerizing. The hotel’s architecture and decor exude a timeless elegance, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Rooms and Amenities:
The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed. My suite was equipped with a cozy fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub, and a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The attention to detail in the room’s decor and amenities, from the high-quality linens to the locally sourced toiletries, enhanced the overall experience.

WWEN HUIVery short stay, but everything was friendly. Hotel's room is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. They also offer a free airport shuttle service. You can book a shuttle by email before arriving at the airport, or contact the hotel using the toll-free number in the airport shuttle area after arriving at Vancouver International Airport.
The only drawback is the desk and bedside tables in the room. The tops are attached to the legs by four bolts. These protruding bolts leave insufficient flat surface for books, laptops, or backpacks. I suggest the hotel replace these impractical desks and bedside tables.
Besides, the hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance to the SkyTrain station and there are many restaurants nearby. Especially, the food court at ”Richmond Centre” which is nearby this hotel primarily serves Asian cuisine, so you won't feel homesick.
