We enjoyed the room, great escape from the town during our raya break. Downside: many plugpoints were not working. Swimpools water can get too cold in the morning. Monkeys like to come to visit. No bidet in the washroom, only one toilet had it. The card access keeps losing the right access to the room door, had to approach counter twice. Restaurant could benefit by installing more fans in the outdoor seating for ventilation. The rest are great.

The water in the toilet was very small in the morning, and the sewer smell was very strong. Everything else was good, there were many choices of food, and I would go there again.

The resort has everything you need — meal options are buffet, grill, BBQ, and fried dishes with excellent wok hei. It also offers a spa, dive centre, mini mart, and an activity centre that arranges snorkeling, trekking, kayaking, and more. Right in front of the resort is a clean, beautiful beach, and Tomok Island is just a short walk away for snorkeling.

Great environment. Relaxing and doable. Great Sunrise except for occasional overcast. The beach is white. The size of the room is comfortable. Beds are big. The deluxe room has a small balcony which leads to the swimming pool and dining hall. The room is not the cleanest. Saw some baby cockroaches running around the bathroom. The pillows are way too soft. The Aircon power is very weak Occasional power trips. There are a few dive shops along the way. Good selection for divers who wants different experience diving around Juara. Food prices are average. There is a roti canai shop mia cafe. Which sells out out very quickly. Be on time at 7am if you want to try it.

Stayed for 3 nights in twin room and had a great stay overall. Parking was free which is great, but you have to remember to validate your car on every exit. Rooms were big and spacious. Good quality TV, comfy beds. Good amenities in toilets but NO laundry service. Hotel amenities were excellent. Beautiful pool, late night bar and convenient store. Driving there at night with fog can be dangerous as there is little to no visibility and no street lights.

We went for a staycation with small kids. Purposely chosen this hotel for their Onsen Experience. We enjoyed the Onsen facilities, and its suitable for kids as well. Rooms are generally clean. However the shower pressure can be improved. The staffs are very polite and patient to our queries too. The downside of this hotel is the parking is in another tower. The hotel other facilities such as swimming pool, restaurants, playground are also in a separate tower. Altho its within walking distance, the hassle of walking from one tower to another, switching betweens lift is not convenient especially if your're carrying alot of stuff and during peak hours.

We recently stayed at Magtree Genting hotel, in room 2004, tower 4, and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel is generally okay, but there are a few areas that need improvement. Firstly, the bunk bed in our room seemed to be broken. When our children slept on it, the bed shook quite a bit, which was concerning. This issue needs to be addressed promptly, either by repairing or replacing the bunk bed to ensure the safety and comfort of future guests. Secondly, the cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was not cleaned thoroughly, and this was quite disappointing. A higher standard of cleanliness is expected, especially in the bathroom area. As for the breakfast, it was just so-so. The selection was quite limited, with options such as fried noodles, fried rice, Nasi lemak, soup noodles, small sausages, fried eggs, roti canai, curry chicken and bread. However, there was no milk, cereal, or cake for the children. Additionally, we found that the creamer seemed to have been bitten by either a cockroach or a mouse, which was quite unappetizing. We have photos to support this observation. Overall, while the hotel is generally okay, there are significant areas that need improvement, particularly with the bunk bed, bathroom cleanliness, and breakfast quality. We hope these issues will be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.

RRaja SamidaThank you to the receptionist, Zura. As I am heavily pregnant, (7 month preggy) she kindly upgraded my room from one that required stairs to a pool terrace room with easy access. The room was conveniently close to the pool, which made my child very happy. The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly, and we truly appreciate Zura’s thoughtfulness. Good job! We will definitely return.”

GGoh Meng MengLovely boutique hotel right opposite the golf course, good as we are golfers. Great place to relax and chill. Hotel service is good and porters are helpful. The only setback was the dinner in the restaurant as the food is below standard! The fish meal my friend ordered were smelly and not fresh. My smoked duck was like salty duck! They changed the meals for us. Thanks to that.

IIda ARGreat service and friendly staff. However like many other review mention below, they are very strict regarding total occupants inside the room, my sister in law also said the same. Hence probably next resort board meeting, can consider to terminate / abolish the such rules. The resort must remember tourism in Malaysia are usually family oriented, hence should prioritise family friendly place/hotel/resort. Do not hurt the occupants/ visitors pf the resort’s feeling. Not all are privileged to book luxuries room for their family. Hope cam consider🙏 other resort/ hotel very rare have such rules. But overall okay, abort the rules would really recommend this place to relatives and friends.

NnorainThe service was truly excellent. I'd definitely return if I get the opportunity. The unit was clean and well-maintained; I was very satisfied. It looked exactly like the photos. A huge thank you to the owner for their help. Even though I found out it was fully booked after paying through Trip, the owner still went the extra mile to make sure we could stay. A truly trustworthy owner.

Kkatty Love TravelThis place actually is so romantic and feels like Europe, but the inside room needs to be improved, first feel alot of sand at floor, second toothpaste and toothbrush did not provide and also shower 🚿 carpet towel did not provide too. The counter service is perfect but maybe the room cleaner did not clean well and also did not check . Lucky service is good, we had call after shower and they provided us toothpaste and towel too. At the Entertainment fireshow, last minute two of the people did not appear and the staff still provided his energy and let me feel good 💯 best fireshow . Even the oldest design ,service, and breakfast all do a good job. I hope to enjoy a 3-day 2night if I have time to come here. Activity @Colmar look at my last image. Best schedule timetable for kids or parents.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at this hotel, and I have to say, the location is fantastic! It's just a short walk to the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. The sand is soft and pristine, and the water is crystal clear—perfect for relaxing or swimming. Although the hotel is 45 years old, it's surprisingly well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, and everything is kept clean. The overall vibe of the hotel is relaxed, which adds to the charm. The service and food were decent but nothing to write home about. While the staff were friendly, the service didn’t feel particularly exceptional. The food was okay, but there wasn’t much variety, and it didn’t stand out compared to other places I’ve stayed. Overall, I’d say this hotel is a great option if you're looking for a beautiful location near the beach with decent accommodations. The beach alone makes it worth the stay!
