Completed in 1897, it once housed the headquarters of the colonial government. The building was designed in a beautiful combination of Indian and Arabic styles. In the middle stands a tall clock tower similar to Big Ben, and is even known as the Big Ben of Malaysia. The clock tower has a golden dome on top. On either side of the clock tower stand two smaller towers topped with the same intricate golden dome.
