What people are saying:

Great Ocean Road, Split Point Lighthouse Great Ocean Road, was built to commemorate the soldiers who participated in the First World War. The people who participated in the construction also included many veterans who participated in the war. The total length is 276 kilometers and the scenery is extremely beautiful. Starting from Melbourne, there is a cliff on the right, the Indian Ocean on the left, and Antarctica at the end of the ocean. This is far from comparable to Binhai Road and Yanhu Road. The first attraction on the Great Ocean Road is the split point lighthouse. It is said that the locals can't remember this name, because the top of the tower is red, so they call it "Little Red Riding Hood Lighthouse." Below the lighthouse is the observation deck, the view is very good, you can see the first rock of the Twelve Apostles. The scenic spots are free, no tickets are required, there are not many people, it is recommended to drive by car or a day trip group to play.

    Great views

We didn't go in or do a tour, just walked around for a bit. There's nice walks either way from where you park.

    Beautiful location

A very quick stop to view the lighthouse in the late afternoon was well worth it. The minibus driver told us it was the location for the 90s children’s TV show “Round the Twist”.

Incredible scenic views, great lighthouse with an interesting history behind it and it's where the tv show round the twist was filmed at.
