Must visit during a trip to Auckland. The war museum particularly was fascinating and the entry was free. The way Maori culture and heritage has been showcased is brilliant

I really object to being charged $28 to enter a museum while it’s free for locals. And if you opt for a guided tour around museum that’s another $20. Highway robbery for an average museum. While there...

Interesting Museum on History of New Zealand
Very interesting museum that had a number of exhibits on 3 floors- good information on the history of New Zealand. Made the stop off the hop on hop off bus.
