Informational and definately for the collector!

My son did a camp here years ago and loved it. They also have rocks to purchase for your collection. Not just the shiny ones you get at a truck stop, but real mined ones for the avid collector.

Really Informational and Worth the stop

There are helpful and knowledgeable staff present as well as some great specimens. I highly recommend if you have any interest in geology or are going to enjoy the outdoors around the Boise area.

This Museum Rocks! (OK, bad pun)

A hidden treasure in Boise. Love the Women in Mining exhibit. Easy to get to. Family friendly. Onsite geologists will even help identify rocks if you bring a pocket full.
