The five water systems of Haihe, Yellow River, Huaihe River, Yangtze River and Qiantang River were communicated. The flow, water sources and storage conditions of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal are different in each section, some areas are northwards, and some areas are southwards. ​

The Qingfeng Building located on the side of the canal is called a landmark building of Cangzhou . The canal is like a jade belt gently surrounded by the Qingfeng Building. Not far from the south lake, the green trees are covered, the lake light building shadows, and the layers form a beautiful canal landscape belt. Beside the canal bridge next to the Qingfeng Building, you can also see gray cranes fishing on the ice, no surprise.
