Highly recommended, don't miss it. It is quiet and peaceful, acres and acres of lush greenery and an easy day trip with the high speed train from Rome.

Most visitors probably wouldn't visit the gardens, and we were just wondering when we found it. Very cool, and matches with the extravagant style of the palace.
