Spectacular views! Would be a great place for a picnic . We strolled along the edge of the water. It had just rained so we enjoyed watching the fog rise of the water and even saw a bald eagle.
Worth the drive
This is worth the drive. ( from Murphy we took 294 up to the dam … good signage and then we drove the loop back into town). The dam is a great visual of the dam system… the water drop from Lake Hiawa...
