It is 50 meters high from the road below. There is only a stone step road to Meiyuan. If it is not a sign of Meiyuan on the side of the road, it is not easy to find. Up to hundreds of steps, there is a hall door on the roadside, into the inside is a courtyard, this courtyard was not a part of the plum garden before, I don't know, now it is the plum garden management office. The courtyard is not big, there are not many rooms, but there is a small hall, with a hall of hundreds of square meters, similar to a large restaurant or conference room. The dozens of steps from the management office are a tall stone base, and the platform is the real plum garden. Meiyuan is located halfway up a hill called Zhongjia Mountain on the northwest suburb of Shapingba District, Chongqing. It is the head of the special agent. The main building of Meiyuan is a light yellow bungalow building, in the style of Chinese and Western. It sits west to east, with mountains and waters behind, and the environment is very elegant. This house was built in the summer of 45 years. After it was built, Japan surrendered not long after it was built. The Sino-US Cooperation Institute was also withdrawn at the end of 45 years. So although this room is called the villa of Meres, but Meres did not live in it for long, more often still the military secret service is in use.

The former site of Meiyuan is located in Zhongjia Mountain, in the northwest suburb of Shapingba District, Chongqing, and is a key national protection cultural relics. In the spring of 1945, Dai Yu, director of the China-US Special Technical Cooperation Institute, built a villa in Zhongjiashan as deputy director of the cooperation institute and US Navy Admiral Meros.
