Stunning signature of Roman presence
Incredible that this multi arched Roman bridge is still in use. If one would be unaware of it's existence one would think "just another old bridge" driving over it's cobbled surface..
bigger than the London Wall..
about 1 mile from my house, an unassuming piece of architecture, but it has stood there for 2000 years, worth visiting for the chance to touch a piece of real Roman history.

Near the Roman Villa de São Cucufate you can see this still pathable bridge with its arcades that are bound up from the ground.
