Heyicheng Natural Village

The Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center has licensed the Bai nationality "circling Sanling" activity line protection point for the national-level intangible cultural heritage project - "Xiandu·Luohelu", Helucheng Nature Village, Jinhe Village, Xizhou Town, Dali City, to implement the project listing protection. This is an innovation and attempt in the protection of intangible cultural heritage. Dali Bai "Around Sanling" is one of the major folk cultural festivals, spread in the Bai village in Cangshan and Bohai area, has a history of more than 1,000 years, originated in the Nanxun period, is a kind of ancient folk sacrifice ceremony of Bai nationality. The three spirits refer to the three gods on the west bank of the Bohai Sea. They are several important masters worshipped by the Bai people and Buddhist shrines introduced into Dali. The temples dedicated to them are called "Buddha Capital" (Dali Chongsheng Temple), "God Capital" (Xizhou Town Qingdong Village Benzhu Temple) and "Xiandu". (Xizhou Town, Heyan City Village, Heyan River). During the "Around the Three Spirits" period, thousands of people participated, men, women and children danced with songs and entertained people, reflecting the inclusive and innovative spirit of Bai culture, and having a strong practical role in enhancing cultural consciousness and national identity. It is one of the symbolic symbols of Bai culture with symbolic significance. With the development of society, its religious color is becoming less and less, and the content of cultural activities is becoming more and more colorful. It has become an important festival for the Bai people's spring tour and social activities.
