50th wedding anniversary
Spent our time celebrating our friends 50th wedding anniversary- spent most of our time in the re-furbished park shelter. It was very nice.
Beautiful lodge
We hosted a family event there a few years back and the venue was outstanding. Views from the shelter house are exceptional, and the kitchen area is very useful. It was cool and quiet in the summer ...
Couldn't enjoy it
Too much water to really enjoy the park. It had a small beach but you had to wade through water to get to it and didn't want the dogs in the mud.
405th high school reunion
It was a blast! The shelter was perfect for the party with former classmates. Bathrooms and area was clean. And a beautiful view of spirit lake.

It is a great place. The shelter house is a modern log cabin. It is quite a beautiful place. It is very open and has lots of place to run and play.
