It is about 15 minutes by bus from Fukui Station. The scale is two stories and is not large, but two special exhibitions, paintings and photographs, were held at the same time. This is a masterpiece exhibition of the Woodwan Museum and a photo exhibition of local photographers. There is a museum shop in the lobby, but I felt it was a little small.

It is quite from Fukui station. Take the Echizen Railway or Fukui Railway to Taharamachi Station, and it is about a 10-minute walk from there. The museum has a free parking lot. There is a cafe in the building, but there are no shops in the area where you can eat or drink tea. I visited on Sunday during the special exhibition, but it was quiet. Nowadays, there are many gorgeous prefectural museums, I was able to enjoy the exhibited works calmly, although it is sober.
