Retrospective public bath
There is just a bath, no shower. The name of Shinonsen means new hot spring, but this onsen seems to have a history more than 90 years. All facilities are at that time. So it is really restrospective....
A public bath in Tsutayacho, Hitoyoshi. An old wooden building with a blue tin roof. It seems that it has been done since 1931. When you enter the entrance, there is a banquet like a public bath. The dressing room is wide 々 and is full of retro feeling. The bathtub is small, but the brown hot springs are flowing, and it is a very hot hot spring.
You can stop by at many inns in Hitoyoshi City and take a bath, but if you want to take a bath at a reasonable price, there are several public hot spring baths. Close to the station is here, and even though it is a new hot spring, the building is old and full of retro feeling. The bathtub is 2, one with hot water, but the other is cold. There is a place as a washroom, but there are no shower facilities. There is no locker in the dressing room. Good to enjoy a retro bath.
It was available for charter, probably because of the time zone. The bathtub is quite shallow and the hot water temperature is also low. A hot spring where you can lie down and take a long bath. It's lukewarm, so you can soak it forever.
A short walk from the station and a short walk from the road, but there is still this envious hot spring. The right side of the building is the men's bath and the left is the women's bath. However, if you open the door, you can see both from the platform (please rest assured that there is a tsukitatsu in the women's bath). I think it is a Japanese activity that you definitely want to experience.
