Mount Huang has a rich and profound cultural heritage. There are more than 100 ancient buildings such as pavilions, terraces, and bridges, nearly 300 cliff carvings from different dynasties, and over 20,000 historical relics including paintings, calligraphy, poetry, and travel notes, which contribute to its deep cultural accumulation, making it a mountain of culture. In December 1990, Mount Huang was listed in the World Cultural and Natural Heritage for its unique aesthetic value. 1. One-Line-Sky One-Line-Sky Located below the Wenshu Cave of Mount Huang, it is a narrow stone alley. The widest part is no more than 2 meters, and the narrowest part is only 0.5 meters. There are more than 80 steps in the middle of the path, which can only allow one person to pass through. Standing in it, one can only see a sliver of blue sky, and if it is not at midnight or noon, one will not be able to see the moon or the sun. It should be noted that the narrow part of One-Line-Sky has slow traffic, and when there are many people, the waiting time in line can be long. 2. Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder The Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder is located on the cliff at the northwest foot of the Lotus Peak. Not far from the 'Lotus Stalk', there are two huge rocks, one shaped like a turtle and the other like a snake, both parallel to each other. A perilous and steep path with more than a hundred steps is carved into the cliff between the two rocks, descending downwards. Viewed from the opposite Aoyu Cave, the path is next to a deep abyss, resembling a long ladder leaning against the cliff, often shrouded in mist, which is very dangerous. This is the 'Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder'. The turtle and snake rocks are just at the entrance of the ladder, as if guarding it, hence the name 'Turtle Snake Guarding the Cloud Ladder'. 3. Lotus Peak Lotus Peak Lotus Peak is the highest peak within the Mount Huang scenic area and the leader of the 36 major peaks, with an altitude of 1864.8 meters. The main peak stands out with smaller peaks clustered around it, resembling a newly bloomed lotus, proudly blooming towards the sky, hence the name 'Lotus Peak'. The Lotus Peak is steep and majestic, with extraordinary scenery along the way. There are two paths to climb Lotus Peak: one is the north route, which is taken by those who tour from the back mountain to the front mountain. After descending from Aoyu Peak, when one reaches Lotus Pavilion, the path to Lotus Peak is on the left side. The other is the south route, which goes directly to Lotus Peak from the Yuping cableway, following the Hero Slope. Compared to the south route, the north route is shorter, has a gentler slope, fewer visitors, and takes less time. After climbing the mountain via the north route, one can return to the Lotus Pavilion and then proceed to visit the Welcoming Guests Pine, or continue along the south route to experience the challenges of the south route in reverse.

Mount Huang's peculiar rocks, scattered like stars across a chessboard, embellish the magnificent sea of peaks. They are uniquely shaped, large and small, vying with each other in beauty, endlessly fascinating. Each one is a masterpiece of nature, resembling in form or spirit, vivid and lifelike, full of charm and interest. There are more than 120 named exquisite rocks on Mount Huang.

Huangshan ~1864.8 meters. In September, we climbed Huangshan, which originated from the centennial celebration. The dormant classmate feelings were revived, and we discussed whether we should go back to school. However, we finally vetoed this suggestion and decided to gather in Nanjing to form a separate celebration venue, and then set off for Huangshan. Five people, one car, and a pair of crutches took us four hours to drive directly from Nanjing Laomendong to the hotel at the foot of Huangshan. As it was still the peak season, we needed to make a reservation the day before climbing. At six o'clock the next morning, after trying the infeasibility of taking a cable car with crutches, the remaining four of us took the shuttle bus. Huangshan was originally called 'Yi Mountain', where 'Yi' means black. It is said that the Yellow Emperor ascended to heaven here after refining pills, and it was later renamed Huangshan. Whether this is true or not is hard to say, at least no documents have been seen. It is said that Huangshan has seventy-two large peaks, and I don't know who counted them. The highest peak is Lotus Peak, and the second highest is Tiandu Peak. These two peaks are opened alternately every five years for ecological protection. Although Tiandu Peak is more dangerous and challenging, we chose to experience Lotus Peak because it was closed for rest. Of course, now Lotus Peak can't be climbed. You can take a cable car to climb the mountain to save time and effort. Of course, you can also climb the mountain without a cable car. This is a necessary but not sufficient condition. As long as you are not tired, everything is fine. There are many cableways on Huangshan, and we took the Yuping cableway. Less than ten minutes after getting off the cable car, we saw the Guest-Greeting Pine. There are pine trees all over Huangshan. The famous ones include the top ten famous pines, including the Guest-Greeting Pine. But the current Guest-Greeting Pine is a substitute, which was newly selected more than ten years ago after the original one died. Further ahead is the most famous Welcoming-Guest Pine in Huangshan. First send guests and then welcome guests, it feels a bit impolite, and I don't know whether to let them come or not. What's the matter, it's all about fame. If the Guest-Greeting Pine dies, just find another one. Although this Welcoming-Guest Pine also looks sick, it still hangs a few steel bars, bracing against the wind in the valley, and the facade must have a responsible look. Walking back from the Welcoming-Guest Pine along a fork, you will reach Lotus Peak in about half an hour. The disadvantage of the peak season is that there are many tourists, but this is also a good thing. If you are stuck together and don't walk much, you won't feel tired. I have been to all the mountainous areas, and only the tourists in Huangshan are never crowded. This may also be related to the fact that the mountain road fence is only half waist high and it is easy to fall off when it is really crowded. The mood of the tourists is very calm, no one is urging, and they can't walk if they urge. When I came, I thought I would be stuck, watching the sea of clouds together, looking at Tiandu Peak on the opposite side that gave up queuing and walking back, it was also an experience. In this way, it took more than four hours to stop every three steps, and finally climbed to the 1864.8-meter Lotus Peak. The beauty of Lotus Peak is what you see is what you get. Viewing the mountains does not view the mountains, viewing the yellow does not view the mountains, it makes sense in terms of scenery. After descending from Lotus Peak, there is a sign indicating that there is a toilet behind a tool room. After queuing up, I found that the toilet is very simple, so simple that there is no door. The front is the tool room, and the back is Tiandu Peak separated by a cloud layer. Suddenly, I felt that the high-speed development of the focal length of the mobile phone lens today, the two peaks need to rest alternately. But this is only for male comrades to release their body and mind. I personally persuaded two female comrades who wanted to go to the toilet, and they were quite persuasive. Below Lotus Peak, there are fewer people, and the real test has come. Going forward, there is a section called a line of sky, which is a bit like the Canglong Ridge of Huashan, but the steps are narrower and only one person can pass. It's a bit troublesome for those with a waist circumference of four feet and two to climb up. Further ahead is the Aoyu Peak, 1780 meters. It is said to be the first of the thirty-six small peaks. This size does not divide the height. It looks like a turtle from a distance. The turtle, the turtle that monopolizes the turtle's head, is a kind of it. After passing Aoyu Peak, walk for about another hour to reach the third highest peak of Huangshan, the 1860-meter Bright Summit. According to martial arts novels, the Bright Summit surrounded by the six major factions is in the Kunlun Mountains, but there seems to be no Bright Summit in reality. If it is really in the Kunlun Mountains, the Shaolin faction in Henan has to walk for a month and a half without eating or sleeping, and there is nothing else to do. Bright Summit is not high or dangerous, and there is no chance to be protected by the ecology. Those who come to Huangshan to watch the sunrise often choose to stay here overnight. Those who do not stay in the hotel find a sleeping bag, endure the cold and hunger for a night, and fall asleep when the day is light, and they do not see the scenery of the sunrise. Curled up in the sleeping bag, it has become a scenery in the eyes of others. I met a few people carrying sleeping bags and walking in the opposite direction. It looked like they had just gotten up, and the sun would go down later. It was more than two o'clock in the afternoon when I arrived at Bright Summit, and the wind gradually rose and the fog rose, and the viewing was a bit unsatisfactory. Walking along the road, leaving the Yuping Scenic Area and entering the Baiyun Scenic Area, Huangshan is divided into more than ten scenic areas, each with a large main focus. You can stay in the mountain for the next day and continue climbing. It takes a month to climb all the way down. Although this section of the road is flat and wide stone steps, there are many ups and downs, and frequent ups and downs are indeed a challenge to the physical strength of adults. There are also sliding poles on the mountain. Because a few aunts in their seventies passed by, I was embarrassed to ask the price. After walking for half an hour, I arrived at the Flying Stone, the location of the 87 version of the Dream of Red Mansions by CCTV, which metaphorically represents Jia Baoyu. There is no guardrail on the right side facing the stone, and standing there with some ideas, it is easy to have no ideas. Continue walking for half an hour, and you will see a famous pine that is not among the top ten famous pines, the Unity Pine. The private tour guide next to it said that when the leader of a certain country in the south came here for a tour, he stood in front of this tree and sighed with the friendship of our comrades and brothers, so he named it accordingly. With this force, I walked for another hour and arrived at Monkey Watching the Sea next to Lion Peak. Huangshan's Four Wonders, Strange Pines, Strange Stones, Sea of Clouds, and Hot Springs. The representative of Strange Stones is Monkey Watching the Sea, and there is Dream Pen Flowering in the opposite direction. Strange stones look at the artistic conception. If you have a heart, you will have a situation. If you think it is, it is. Of course, strange stones can't be too strange. After Dream Pen Flowering, I originally planned to go over Shixin Peak, which is also one of the small peaks, but thinking about it, I have walked for four hours since I came down from Lotus Peak, with a flat distance of five kilometers, and my physical strength has also been consumed, and it is dark. , So I went down the mountain from the Cloud Valley Cableway, and when I took the shuttle bus back, it was the mountain gate when I came. The whole journey of climbing the mountain took more than ten hours. Except for rocks and pine trees, I would get tired if I saw too much. Thinking about it, everything in the world is like this. What you can't get and can't see is valuable. After the real experience, the Huangshan pines all over the mountains are just a piece of wood.

The sunrise of Huangshan has a lot to do with the general theory and seasons. Those who are particularly obsessed with sunrise and sunset must pay attention to the weather before going up the mountain. Searching for the Bright Summit of Huangshan in Moji Weather is quite accurate. In summary, the probability of sunrise and sunset is also low in cloudy weather, and it should be better on sunny days. However, the weather in the mountains is changeable. We didn't wait for the sunrise at the Bright Summit, but the wind was very strong. There will also be occasional brief moments when the clouds and fog disperse and brighten. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to be too persistent. It's best to go up the mountain when the weather is good. Everything is the best arrangement. Not far from the Bright Summit is the Aoyu Peak, which is the best observation point for the sunset of Huangshan. Whether it's a cable car or hiking, after watching the sunrise, you can directly walk towards the Lotus Peak from the Bright Summit, which is the downhill route. At first, it's very steep steps down to the middle and then up a few sections to the road to the Upper Lotus Peak. If your physical strength is still good, I strongly recommend climbing the Lotus Peak. You will definitely have a different feeling. The Tiantou Peak is right opposite the Lotus Peak, which is shorter than the Lotus Peak, but steeper. These two peaks are open alternately every three to five years, and this year it's the Lotus Peak. After coming down from the Lotus Peak, you officially enter the downhill route. Here, the most famous Welcoming Pine in the primary school textbook and Huangshan is welcoming you. If you take the cable car, you will first pass the cable car downhill station. Don't get off, go straight to see the Welcoming Pine and the Huangshan cliff carvings on the cliff above, then turn back to the Yuping cableway to take the cable car down the mountain. The road down the mountain is next to the Welcoming Pine for those who hike down the mountain. Keep walking downhill, the stairs are very steep, pay attention to safety when looking at the scenery, pass the One Line Sky and look up at the Tiantou Peak that has changed from under your feet to above your head, all the way down to the Ziguang Pavilion about seven kilometers, there are many people hiking up the mountain on the way down, it is obviously more difficult than climbing from the back mountain, arrive at the Ziguang Pavilion and take the shuttle bus back to the visitor center. Best sunrise viewing point: Danxia Peak Bright Summit (walk straight past the platform in front of the small iron gate facing the Bright Summit Villa) Best sunset viewing point: Bright Summit Aoyu Peak Lotus Peak (do not be below the Baiyun Hotel platform, there will be obstructions) Only when you climb the Lotus Peak do you know that the highest point of Huangshan is not the Bright Summit, but the Lotus Peak, which is 4M higher than it. The feeling of overlooking all the mountains is very good, but the premise is that you can't have acrophobia.
