Kaiyuanguan

Kaiyuanguan is located in the west gate of Jingzhou Ancient City. The main building is from the mountain gate, Leizu Temple, Sanqing Temple and Yang Cheng of the ancestral temple. It is a group of self-contained systems and relatively complete Taoist buildings. Kaiyuanguan sits in the north and south, a three-district" along the central axis in turn, covering an area of about 5,000 square meters. Kaiyuanguan was built in the Kaiyuan years of the Tang Dynasty (between 713 and 741), and Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1135) moved to the current site for reconstruction, and then experienced repairs. The main building and pattern are preserved in a more complete manner. The existing buildings are mainly rebuilt in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In 2006, Kaiyuan View, Xuanmiao View, and Daxuan (collectively known as the "Jingzhou Sanguan") were included in the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide. Kaiyuan view is one of the landmark buildings in the flourishing period of Jingzhou Taoism culture, which has important historical culture and architectural craft value and is a precious cultural heritage.

Jingzhou, a famous national historical and cultural city, is closed by the Kaiyuanguan Mountain Gate, one of the three views of Jingzhou, a key cultural relics protection unit in the country.

The mountain gate is a four-pillar three-door heavy-lift archway, the Sanqing Temple is built on a 1-meter high step, the single-lifted top of the mountain, the five-lifted top, the three-lifted deep, the Tianmen and the ancestral temple are built on the 3.3 Michong platform, the ancestral temple is the top of the heavy-lifted top, the wide-open bottom is three square, the palace is in the bucket arch, The colorful dragon and phoenix patterns of Yuanjun painting and algae well painting. Since 1958, Kaiyuanguan has gradually changed to Jingzhou Regional Museum, and now it has become Jingzhou Ancient Building Technology Exhibition Area.
