Nice bridge across the Asano river
This bridge is quite near the old geisha district of Higashi-chaya. Nice old bridge for photos and a pleasant walk across the Asano river. Other than that, nothing very special.

This bridge is a very pleasant one to stop on and watch the Asano river. I was there just after the tail end of Typhoon Noru had dissipated, so that river was like rapids!
If you walk upstream of the river from the Asanogawa Bridge, you will find the next pedestrian-only bridge. I crossed this bridge and headed for the most lively Higashi Chaya district in Kanazawa. It seems to be made of wood on a steel bridge, but it has an atmosphere that matches the surrounding environment.

That river was roaring after Typhoon Noru!
