    Kasaoka festivals

This is the main shrine for Kasaoka, and this is where most town holiday events will be. This year I attended the Autumn festival, where men ran around the shrine carrying giant palanquins, and Hatsum...

The first visit to 2020 is here

    Original Text

I usually visit a shrine near a local house, but this year I went a little far away to enjoy walking because of overeating on New Year's Day. It's small, but it was a good shrine where you can feel the history.

    Shinto shrine

    Original Text

It is a shrine in a relatively residential area. It was inconvenient to go with strollers because there are stairs, but it was a good shrine.

    Original Text

I found it while walking toward the old Yukaku of Fushikoshi. I thought it might have something to do with the origin of the place name of Kasaoka, but it was different. It is the local guardian deity.
