I usually visit a shrine near a local house, but this year I went a little far away to enjoy walking because of overeating on New Year's Day. It's small, but it was a good shrine where you can feel the history.
I found it while walking toward the old Yukaku of Fushikoshi. I thought it might have something to do with the origin of the place name of Kasaoka, but it was different. A long time ago, when Emperor Ojin came to hunt, a hat worn by the wind flew and the hat was caught in the pine tree, so Hachiman-sama was built there. That is later Kasa Shrine. It is the local guardian deity.
