Nice Harbor Views
Great photo op if you are on a longer layover in Keflavik Airport. The salt air and the distant view of the Icelandic Mountains are a nice touch as well.
Better than sitting in KEF
Peacefull. 2 hours go near kef airport, that is practically cold and aufull. So I recommend smth else from sitting and waiting your flight.
Nice Waterfront Monument
Nice drive-by after arriving at Keflavik airport. Calming waterfront area in the village of Keflavik. Good place for a walk and some fresh air after a long flight.

We decided to detour into Keflavik on our way to Reykjavík from the airport. It wasn’t very difficult to find - I would suggest maybe marking out on a map first because phone reception is temperament...
