Feels Like Ancient People
Near the okhotsk you can see a beautiful and quiet place, the ruins of old village. cause it so calm you can hear the sound of the wind and sound of singing bird. that was so great, feels like ancient...
I stayed at Lake Saroma Tsuruga Resort, so I visited after a walk. It was just across the road from the hotel. There was also a museum, but I didn't do it early in the morning. A few minutes from the museum, a pit-type residence was reproduced in the ruins of the Rubun era. I also put it in the residence. It's free except for the museum, so it's recommended if you have time.
I went there in winter. Admission fee is 280 yen. There are few exhibits. The main area is the Buried Cultural Heritage Center (appealing cultural heritage) and Tokoro Materials Exhibition Hall, where restored dwellings and items excavated from the atmosphere (actual archaeological site) are exhibited in the forest. I was impressed that there are similar facilities in Aomori and that they are also in Hokkaido. I want to come again!

In the quiet of the vast forest, there is a buried cultural center, the Tokoro Museum of the University of Tokyo, and a museum of color 々. I was able to see the northern culture flowing from Siberia via Sakhalin.
There are ruins of old pit-style dwellings and exhibition facilities in the forest. It's fun to walk around the forest, but it's hard to visit in the summer because there are many mosquitoes. The facility was burning mosquito incense, but insect repellent spray is essential if you are walking through the forest. There is no drug store nearby that sells sprays, so it is necessary to procure them in advance in Tokoro and Abashiri towns.
