    Holy falls to take a dip - close to Kutta

    Lakshmana Theertha , it is called and is considered holy to take a dip. Good 1 km walk up some stairs but worth it. Bottom they have a Rameshwara Temple built for Lord Shiva.

    Less water in the falls

    Very less water. Not a right time to visit. Not worth travelling 1.5 hrs one way from Madikeri to this falls and get disappointed not seeing water in the falls

    Chilled water falls

    Silent place to visit. Chilled water from top hills. Kids can be enjoyed a lot. Enjoy a small trekking from entry point to top.

    Visit after a monsoon

    Visit only after the monsoon. Else there is not much water. It is a longish trek, and you may see a feeble "waterfall". The walk in the wooded area is nice.
