Epidemic disease retreats
A shrine on the way from Kumamoto Station to the Hosokawa family mausoleum (Kitaoka Natural Park). A vermilion tower gate rises up the stone steps. I noticed a poster that dispersed the plague due to the timeliness.
Traditional customs
In Kitaoka Jinja shrine, the traditional shichigosan ritual is a 7 year old girl's belt, ５ old boy's belt, ３ old man and woman's hair, and ４ old man and woman's belt.

In Kitaoka Jinja shrine, there is a famous couple of cherry trees, and it is said that if you worship a pair of sacred trees of a huge male cherry tree and a female cherry tree that grew in a thousand years, you can remove trouble.
