You can see the whole from the back of the roadside station Kyotanba Ajimu no Sato. You can go down the stairs and slopes and go around in about 20 minutes. It's just right for a walk.
From the road station Kyotanba Miyu no Sato
On the way from Osaka to Amanohashidate in September, I took a break at the roadside station Kyotanba Miyumenosato and was able to see it from there. Shionoya Kofun Tumulus dates from the 5th century to the first half of the century and was built on the hills of Sone, former Tanba Town. There are １２ tumulus with a diameter of ８ｍ to １５．５ｍ. Heisei ８ It is said that the person Haniwa (Miko type Haniwa) ２ body was excavated from the largest tumulus in the year. This is a recommended spot for those who are interested in history.
Hiro 々 Hill Park Near Road Station
You can overlook the 5 〜 6th century １１ tumulus cluster. It seems that two shrine maiden haniwa statues have come out. You can look down from the roadside station Kyotanba Aimi no Sato.
Relax in the tumulus
Located along the prefectural road ４４４. It is also connected to the roadside station Aiyume no Sato, so it is good to be able to visit together. The tumulus is well maintained and you can relax. The flowers are also beautiful.
