Gion Shirakawa

From the wooden house, cut through the Liqiao to the east side of Kamogawa, you can effectively avoid the crowds of the four bridges, and then go north to the starting point of the Liyuan Shirakawa. From here, walk along the northeast, along the Shirakawa Creek, and you can walk all the way to the Ping An Shen Palace; During the cherry blossom season, the whole road will be light pink. These places can be walked while watching the night scene, you can also avoid the crowds, or you can try to walk to the two cities.

There are so many places worth visiting in Kyoto that few people seem to know about this trail, which is my strong recommendation. Old bridges were erected on the river, and ducks were swimming in the river. The small street by the river feels like an ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River. The bluestone slab road and willow yiyiyi are clean and quiet. Walking here, like in a romantic Japanese drama, so quiet, so warm, I hope time stays. Unfortunately, restaurants along the river need to be reserved, otherwise we can enjoy the environment a little more.
