Drop in to see the interior of this church constructed from the stones taken from the Trophy of August, while you are touring the medieval village. Worth the visit.
It was very dark inside. We could have doe with a torch
We read about the church and the lovely paintings it contains but although we sat inside quietly for 10 minutes our eyes did not acclimatize. Our guide book told us more than we saw
If you are in the area, you must make the trek up the hill to check this out. Make sure you confirm the times that it is open to the public. Just a stunning cathedral from several hundred years ago....
