Don't go in the summer....
Perhaps in the ski season this restaurant is more lively and that would make up for the mediocre food. During the summer season, when we went, the restaurant was nearly empty, as was Stratton village....
Enjoyable Hike
This is a good short hike...only 1-1 1/2 miles but still quite enjoyable. You can ride the chairlift to the top and hike down or hike it both ways. Bear in mind it's a hike in VT so bring bug repell...
Fun short hike for the family
Easy hike, especially if you take the gondola to the top of Stratton mountain
Great Day Trip
Either hike up or take the chairlift. Then it is an easy +/- 1 mile hike to the tower. It can get a little crowded during fall foliage season. Bring bug repellent and a jacket.
