Two hour walk through and up canyon. Several small dwelling sites in canyon and lots of good views and wildlife along trail al the way back to trailhead.
The Spruce Canyon trail was closed due to rock falls, however the overlook is easily accessible from the parking lot. It is close to restrooms, the cafe and a museum which is worth visiting as well.

Nice walk if you have time.
