A picnic area with paths to see views
Nice, cool picnic spot. Beautiful area with trails that wind up to extrodinary views. If you go early enough you will have the entire spot to yourself.
Great Picnic Area
Stopped here for a picnic lunch after visiting Mt. Rushmore and Horsethief Lake. Lovely spot for lunch with internet service that allowed me to write this review.

Mommy and I roadtrip
We had just finished Crazy Horse Monument and needed a place to have a picnic. Even though the area was filling up with bikers heading to Sturgis, it was a wonderful quiet retreat into nature.
