From Minami Aso Village, I was heading for Kumamoto City on the Prefectural Road 28. After passing Mt. Tawara, which is the outer ring of Aso, a long downhill continued, and after going down for a while, there was "Tawarayama Exchange Center Moe no Sato" on the left side of the road. The surrounding area is lush and undulating. I parked my car in a large parking lot and entered the building. It was a roadside station-like facility because there were local specialties lined up and there was a restaurant. In autumn, a beautiful cosmos garden with 1 million cosmos blooms ...
When I got off the prefectural road from Minami Aso Village to the Kumamoto Airport side, I found "Tawarazan Exchange Hall Moe no Sato" on the left side of the road. It was a facility like a roadside station, and freshly picked vegetables and special products were lined up in the building. We have been to Kumamoto several times in the past few years, and we were worried about Kumamoto's local sweets (?) called "Sudden Dango" at roadside stations in various places. It was also in Moe no Sato, so I bought it. Suddenly, dumplings are sweet potatoes and grain bean paste. ...
The Sakata Sweet chiffon cake I bought at a shop at Kumamoto Airport was delicious, so when I checked it on the Internet, I learned that it was manufactured near here and sold at Moe no Sato. I stopped by on the way home. When I asked the shop staff, they were politely guided to see that the products were placed in three places. I could buy various kinds of sweets and enjoyed it. At the entrance, I also took a picture with Kumamon.
I happened to pass by on the way back to Kumamoto Airport. The cosmos in full bloom was in bloom and it was a popular spot. I wonder if there are many locals, the parking lot was full and there were events. I happened to meet a good spot along the way. It's close to the airport, so I would like to stop by in another season.

I asked for the best time to see it, but it was certainly the cosmos flowers were in bloom, but the scale was reduced from usual.
