if you want to see the hot spring town of otsuki
Original Text
I stayed at Otsuki, but I came to this park on a hill because there was no route to take a walk at the tourist point. You can get a bird's-eye view of the cityscape from here. In this feeling, it becomes only a hot spring, and the big is likely to be passed.
It is a park on a hill overlooking the cityscape of Otsuki Onsen. If the weather is nice, you can also see Mt. Iwaki and the mountain 々 near the border of Akita Prefecture from the observatory. Azalea flowers bloom around the end of May and it seems to be very beautiful, but unfortunately I visited in early May, so I couldn't enjoy the azalea flowers. Also, although it is quite a climb to the observatory, if you have a car, you can approach from the parking lot on the south side and you don't have to experience a steep climb.
Around May, the best time to see azaleas is, but this time I visited in the summer, so I couldn't see azaleas. Since it is located in a small high place, you can see the Otsuki Onsen town, the view is good, and I feel refreshed. There is a rumor that bears will appear recently, so be careful!
I walked from the red railing bridge in front of the mountain gate of Daienji Temple.

The roads and stairs were maintained. You will arrive at the observatory in about 15 minutes to 20 on foot. On the way, you can overlook Mt. Iwaki and Otsuki Onsen, where snow remains. You will be healed by the beautiful scenery.
Around the end of May, the azalea flowers bloom so much that the entire mountain changes colors splendidly. Other seasons are perfect for a walk. It is very close to the hot spring town. There is a small diameter of haiku. It is a peaceful space that mixes the nature and emotion of the hot spring town that has not changed since the Meiji and Taisho eras than the Showa era, which makes you want to twist haiku.
