パルマス市は州都となって３０年弱の若い都市で、歴史が浅いためこれといった見所がありません。そんな街の真ん中にある州庁内にはトカンチンスの歴史を記した壁画があり、州の歴史を知ることができます。街には高い建物もないので庁舎からの眺めが最も良いと思われます。
