I would like to comment on the review from '_TS***GD', hidden of course.Patsy, in all her years running her garden, has never had a bad review, just check with the Kalamunda Tourist Information, and I bet, Patsy gave this person a full refund, because that is the type of person she is.I can't help, but to speculate, that this may be a scam to get a free outing, and probably had been done many times to other businesses before.

Well what a disappointment today! Four generations of my family travelled close to 100 kms to have a wonderful family celebration at the Patsy Durack Rose Gardens. It turned pear shape in no time. The staff were rude and ignorant. We were basically asked why we were there. We were treated as though we were an intrusion, not a customer. We were charged $10 per adult which equated to $40 to view the rose gardens, but once our monies were taken we were told we could not view the gardens, just see them from the verandah! We were also charged $10 per adult for Devonshire Tea, equates to $40, so $80 all up!We had no idea where to go to find the verandah, and though there was a person there she was reluctant to show us where the verandah was. The verandah setting comprised of the cheapest stacker plastic Bunnings chairs and tables. The Devonshire Tea, was disgusting. 1 stale scone per person! Do not advertise that you are open if, you cannot offer a service to customers. We were told to make our own teas, with the lukewarm water supplied. We had a 3 year old in our family party, who found the verandah cold, but were offered nowhere else to sit.Totally disgusted my son spent $80 of his hard earned money to get nothing in return. During Covid times, people in the hospitality industry are lifting their game, yet this was not the case.PR was lacking, as was hospitality, and the scones were the driest and possibly the worse scones I have had in my life and I am in my seventies.I do not normally write bad reviews, but this is totally justified, as I do not want another family celebration ruined.DO NOT WATSE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE, IT WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE WORSE SERVICE, OR LACK OF IT I HAVE SEEN IN HOSPITALITY!
