Shishishi Museum

Shishi Museum is located in the cultural and sports center of Shishi City, which is a key construction project for private affairs by the Shishi Municipal Government and listed as the first free museum opening in Fujian Province. The exhibition hall of the Xingtai Lion Culture of Shishi City Museum has collected more than 500 lions from all over southern Fujian, witnessing the blood and flesh relationship of Xingtai with water and Xingtai culture of the same source. The pair of big stone lions in the collection in the museum are said to be from the Qing Dynasty and highly anthropomorphic.

The traffic is very convenient, there are many parking spaces next to it, so if you drive by yourself, don't worry about no parking space. This museum sometimes displays some cultural relics in other places.

Shishi Museum covers an area of 10.3 mu, located in Shishi Culture and Sports Center, connected with cultural and sports facilities such as cultural museums, gymnasiums, youth off-campus activities center, staff activities center, and cultural and sports center. The construction area of 7,000 square meters, with a total investment of 24 million yuan, is a key construction project of Shishi Municipal Government for private affairs. It was opened on November 23, 2008, and listed as the first free museum in Fujian Province.
