The Cathedral of St. Dominus was the tomb of Diocletian the Great, and was later converted to a church. The original site was a large garden, in 312 AD (316) Diocletian died and was buried here, by the 5th century, his coffin was removed, the whereabouts were unknown, the tomb became a Christian church, and the medieval period added a bell tower about 57 meters high, so it became a very unique building.
