You cannot avoid seeing this tree ; it sits pretty much in the center of Telavi, close to the Castle of King Erekle. Stop for the compulsory selfie, then go and see something exciting.

It is, in fact, an old tree. Not terrible impressive. Not all that old. Is it worth seeing? Yes….for sixty seconds or so. Is it worth the trip to see it? No.
