Small fort next to light house, 12 Km from Helipad (N Cliff)
Simple fort, square shape with open central space Not much of complicated building components Can spend 30 min to climb upthe walls and walk around HAs a light house close by
Situated in the southern part of Varkala. No entry fee. Has a small lush garden. The whole place is well maintained. There is a placard outside to know a brief history of the fort.
Anchuthengu fort is of great historical importance and it is well maintained. Even though there is nothing special inside the fort, you can take some good pictures, especially from the top. It is loc...
The whole five coconut area is clean, calm and quite gorgeous. The garden and lighthouse pristine and one could easily imagine it back in the days of colonial rule
